Thanks so much for visiting TAE Boutique, your one-stop shop for beautiful fashion, gifts and accessories that, I hope, you will love as much as I do. As a journalist (for publications including The Times, The FT, Evening Standard and Tatler. I was also Travel Editor of Conde Nast Brides for seven years) and co-founder of lifestyle blog Wear & Where, I spent my former career writing about trends, interviewing the odd celebrity, travelling and, more often than not, hunting out gorgeous, affordable items to write about.
And this really is where the idea of TAE came from. Having been lucky enough to discover so many beautiful places and products through my job, I wanted to put together a curated edit of my favourite pieces on one fantastic website. None of us have the time to trawl through the shops anymore (unless it's our job!) so I wanted to make it easy for women like me to find beautiful, often unique, items that make you happy, all in one place.
I live in West Sussex with my husband and 4 children, and it's from here that I run the shop. I started TAE in May 2017, going on to launch the website in July of that year. TAE is now my job and my biggest passion (apart from my family and coffee!) and I love it. I wear a lot of hats and as well as designing the website, taking the photos, writing the descriptions and posting everything out, I also choose and try on/out everything on the site. I only feature items that I genuinely love and am never more excited than when I've discovered a small new UK-based brand that is on the cusp of something great!
I love TAE and I hope you do. Whether you're looking for a little something for yourself or a friend or relative, I really hope you find something that makes you happy.
Thank you for popping by and do let me know what you think! I always love feedback - good or bad - so please drop me a line and let me know what you like about the site, what you'd like to see more of on the site and any other feedback you might have!
